Stefania Glowka, 63, charged with killing 80s-year-old Tamara Glowka in Devizes flat on Christmas Day

Stefania Glowka, 63, has been charged with murder following the death of 80s-year-old Tamara Glowka on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, at a flat on Keepers Road, Devizes, Wiltshire. The Polish national appeared at Swindon Magistrates' Court on December 30, 2025, and was remanded in custody until a March 2026 hearing at Bristol Crown Court. Police responded to reports of an assault at the flat on Christmas morning and found Tamara Glowka deceased at the scene. The victim, who was known to the suspect, has not yet been formally identified. A preliminary post-mortem was inconclusive, and further tests are underway to determine the cause of death.
