Winnipeg Officer Bostock’s Drug 'Fairy Dust' Scandal Exposed

Elston Bostock, a former Winnipeg police constable, was convicted on January 9, 2026, of drug trafficking after previously pleading guilty to corruption and ticket‑fixing offences. Between 2015 and 2019, a former acquaintance testified that Bostock, known as a “hookup,” routinely “fairy‑dusted” partygoers with white powdered drugs, including cocaine, MDMA, psilocybin and cannabis. Court evidence also revealed he supplied drugs to fellow officers while on duty and even arranged a cocaine deal outside the police station on Grant Avenue.
