A transgender doctor at the heart of the Sandie Peggie s case has quit the NHS after the conclusion of a row over single sex spaces. NHS Fife confirmed Dr Beth Upton, the trans doctor involved in a high profile employment tribunal dispute with suspended nurse Sandie Peggie, departed from the health authority at the end of 2025.
