Tottenham's Paratici to Leave Club After Ban
Fabio Paratici will exit Tottenham amid 30‑month FIFA ban, joining Fiorentina for football operations.

Tottenham are announcing the departure of joint sporting director Fabio Paratici, who will exit the club once the January transfer window concludes. The 53‑year‑old, who was suspended for 30 months by FIFA for a betting offence, returned to Spurs in mid‑2023 and now has a brief four‑month tenure. Paratici is slated to take the role of director of football operations at Serie A club Fiorentina. The move comes after a short spell at Tottenham in 2025‑26, and the English side will look for a replacement in the summer. Tottenham’s board emphasised that Paratici’s expertise will be used to strengthen the club’s long‑term strategy.
