Emmy‑winning actor Timothy Busfield released from New Mexico jail amid sexual abuse charges.

Emmy‑winning actor Timothy Busfield, 68, was released from a New Mexico jail on Tuesday, 21 January 2026. Busfield first appeared before the court via video link the previous week and has denied the allegations, calling them lies. Judge David Murphy granted release pending trial, noting no evidence that the public would be at risk and that Busfield had complied with court orders.
