The FBI reported that scammers stole $333.5 million from Americans through Bitcoin ATM scams in 2025, a significant increase from $250 million in 2024 and a dramatic rise from previous years. With over 45,000 Bitcoin ATMs nationwide, criminals are exploiting the ease and irreversibility of cryptocurrency transactions. The Washington, D.C.
