Revolution Bars Owner Enters Administration, 600 Jobs Lost
Nearly 600 UK pub jobs lost as Revolution bars go into administration.

On 26 January 2026 the Revel Collective announced that it had filed notice of an intention to appoint administrators, and on 27 January FTI Consulting was named as the firm to oversee the process. The administration decision will close 14 Revolution, six Revolution de Cuba and one Peach Pub, resulting in 591 immediate job losses. However, FTI reported that new deals will secure 41 sites and protect 1,582 positions. Closure sites include Manchester (Oxford Road), Huddersfield, Leicester, Glasgow (Renfield Street), Cardiff, Nottingham, Leeds, Sheffield, Ipswich, Manchester (Parsonage Gardens), Plymouth, Durham, Exeter and Preston. The announcement came just before the chancellor was due to confirm a partial U‑turn on business rates for pubs.
