Father PC Thomas Shearman, a Gloucestershire Police officer, rescued their daughter Evie, 4, but was prevented from re-entering the burning home by neighbors. The fire broke out around 11:30 AM, prompting a major emergency response. Neighbors described 'horrific' scenes as Shearman attempted to save his family. The family, who moved to the property in 2023, are remembered as loving and community-oriented. An investigation into the fire's cause is ongoing.
