Minute Maid to Drop Frozen Juice Line in Canada
Minute Maid will pull its frozen juice range from Canadian shelves by April 2026 as demand slips.

On January 30, 2026 CBC reported that Minute Maid, a unit of Coca‑Cola, will discontinue its frozen canned orange juice, lemonade, Fruitopia fruit punch and Five Alive juice blend in Canada and the U.S. by April. The move follows a consumer shift toward fresher, lower‑sugar drinks and mirrors Lassonde’s exit from the category last year. Analysts note that only about seven per cent of Canadian juice volume comes from frozen concentrate, prompting the brands to refocus on higher‑margin products. The decision leaves a significant gap in Canada’s beverage shelf space.
