Israeli Strikes Kill 29 Palestinians in Gaza, Hospitals Report
29 Palestinians, including women and children, killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza City and Khan Younis.

On Saturday, 31 January 2026, Israeli airstrikes on Gaza City and the Khan Younis tent camp killed at least 29 Palestinians, hospital officials said. Shifa Hospital recorded a strike that killed a mother, three children and a relative; Nasser Hospital reported a fire in a tent camp that claimed seven lives, including a father, his three children and three grandchildren. An earlier airstrike on a police station in Gaza City claimed 11 more victims. The attacks come amid a ceasefire that began 10 October and scrutiny of each side for violations. The Gaza health ministry, run by the Hamas‑led administration, has logged over 500 deaths since the ceasefire.
