Dr. Jerilynn Prior of UBC criticized the trial’s design, while Dr. Christa Mullaly cautioned that small studies may lack clinical significance. Overall, creatine is safe for healthy people but may harm those with kidney disease; the supplement’s market is projected to grow sharply in Canada and the U.S..
