Gunman who disguised as Deliveroo rider jailed for 38 years after shooting 8‑year‑old
Deliveroo‑rider gunman jailed 38 years after shooting eight‑year‑old.

Jazz Reid, 33, was sentenced to 38 years in prison after carrying out three targeted shootings in London. On 24 November 2024, he disguised himself in a Deliveroo e‑bike, backpack and takeaway box and fired 11 bullets from a hire car at a family car in Ladbroke Grove, NW London. The bullets struck an eight‑year‑old girl twice and her 34‑year‑old father five times; both survived. Earlier, on 9 October 2024, Reid shot Ameile Buncombe, 27, in Notting Hill, leaving her thigh injured. Prosecutors said the attacks were precision‑planned, possibly contract killings, though no gang link evidence emerged. One gun was recovered under a slab outside his Uxbridge home, the other from a moped. He likely must serve at least two‑thirds of the sentence with a five‑year licence.
