The project, announced by local authorities, will overhaul derelict beachfront, add new restaurants and leisure facilities, and improve public transport links. Expected to create roughly 1,500 jobs during construction and boost tourism revenue by an estimated £30 million annually, the scheme will also include heritage preservation for historic promenade structures.
