Veteran snowboarder Mark McMorris seeks Olympic gold after three bronze medals.

Mark McMorris, the 32‑year‑old snowboarder from Regina, Saskatchewan, enters his fourth Olympics in Milano‑Cortina 2026 hoping for a podium finish in slopestyle after earning bronze medals in Sochi 2014, PyeongChang 2018 and Beijing 2022. In January 2025, he captured a gold medal at the X Games in Aspen with a 96.33 score, marking his 25th career podium and 12th gold. The Canadian, a 12‑time World Cup champion, is the sole male slopestyle athlete from 2014 still competing. Slopestyle qualifications take place Feb. 15‑17 at Livigno Snow Park, with the medal rounds on the 19th. McMorris’ quest for gold is seen as the culmination of a record‑setting career.
