At the 83rd Golden Globe Awards held on January 11, 2026, at Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, Chloé Zhao’s historical drama Hamnet captured Best Motion Picture – Drama and earned the award for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama to Jessie Buckley. Paul Thomas Anderson’s action‑comedy One Battle After Another won Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy and received acting honors for Teyana Taylor (Supporting Actress). Canadian talents dominated the TV categories: Seth Rogen’s The Studio won Best TV Series – Musical or Comedy, and Jack Thorne’s Netflix limited series Adolescence earned Best Limited Series award. British actor Wagner Moura took Best Male Actor – Drama for The Secret Agent.
