Family Seeks Answers After Son Vanishes at Mont Tremblant
Liam Toman, 22, vanished at Mont Tremblant ski resort on Feb. 2, 2025, prompting a long‑standing family search.

Liam Gabriel Toman, 22, vanished from Quebec’s Mont Tremblant ski resort on Feb. 2 2025 after a weekend trip with friends. His parents, Kathleen and Chris Toman, live in Balsam Lake, Ontario, and have travelled ~500 km to the resort each month to search. Quebec’s Sûreté du Québec conducted a 12‑day search using foot patrols, horseback, ATV, snowmobile, dogs and helicopters, and a resort employee recovered Liam’s wallet in March. A $10,000 reward was later raised to $50,000 with no new leads. CBC’s Fifth Estate reported a detailed investigation in November 2025, prompting the resort to launch a public awareness campaign. The search remains open with authorities urging anyone with information to call the SQ line.
