Former Spandau Ballet star Ross Davidson found guilty of rape and attempted rape in London court.

Former Spandau Ballet singer Ross Davidson, 37, was found guilty after an 11‑hour deliberation by jurors at Wood Green Crown Court on 28 January 2026. The case centred on a March 2015 rape in London and a December 2019 attempt to rape a woman in Thailand, both alleged to be committed while he met the victims on the dating app Tinder. In court he denied the assault, insisting the encounters were consensual. Witnesses described a violent attack on a sleeping victim, who described feeling helpless. Davidson, whose real name is Ross William Davidson and whose stage name is Ross Wild, also admitted a prior voyeurism conviction. Sentencing is scheduled for 4 February 2026.
