Ex-husband arrested in connection with double murder of Ohio dentist, wife
Michael McKee arrested for double murder of Ohio dentist Spencer Tepe and wife Monique.

On December 30, 2025, Ohio dentist Spencer Tepe, 37, and his wife Monique Tepe, 39, were found shot dead at their home on Columbus’s North‑Fourth Street. Police confirmed the fatalities at 10:11 a.m. after Spencer failed to report to work. Surveillance footage linked the shootings to a vehicle that arrived minutes before the crime and left shortly after. That vehicle was later located in Rockford, Illinois, where investigators determined the driver, Michael David McKee—Monique’s ex‑husband—had possession before and after the killings. McKee was arrested on January 10, 2026, in Franklin County and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday. Two minor children were present and unharmed in the house.
