DOJ releases 3 million-page Epstein files
Dozens of redactions still pending after DOJ releases over 3 million pages of Jeffrey Epstein files.

On January 30, 2026, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche announced that the Justice Department has made public a tranche of roughly 3 million pages from its archive of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. The released set contains about 2,000 videos and 180,000 images, along with 6 million documents held under the Epstein Files Transparency Act (EFTA); portions involving child‑abuse material or victim identity were withheld. Blanche denied that the department shielded former President Donald Trump, stating there was no oversight from the White House. The release follows the federal act signed by Trump on Nov. 19, 2025, which required the DOJ to publish all unclassified records concerning Epstein’s investigations and prosecutions.
