Air Canada cited airport delays and offered free rebooking, and WestJet advised customers travelling to Toronto, Montreal, Halifax, Moncton, Quebec City, as well as U.S. hubs in Atlanta, Houston and New York City. A severe U.S. winter storm compounded disruptions, canceling thousands of flights to North America.
