Jasprit Bumrah injured shoulder during MI vs DC match but 'recovered well'

Mumbai Indians pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah suffered a left shoulder injury during the Indian Premier League match against Delhi Capitals at Wankhede Stadium on March 24, 2019. The injury occurred in the final over when Bumrah dived to stop a ball from Rishabh Pant, requiring assistance from physiotherapist Nitin Patel to leave the field. The Mumbai Indians management confirmed Bumrah had 'recovered well' from the incident and his condition would be assessed on March 25. The injury raised concerns for Team India with the ICC Cricket World Cup scheduled for May 30-July 14, 2019 in England and Wales, where Bumrah was expected to be India's primary strike bowler. Bumrah had just conceded 26 runs in the penultimate over to Pant before the injury occurred.
