Two Brentford first team players sustained injuries after stepping in to assist a man who was reportedly subjected to a racially motivated attack in Richmond during the early hours of Sunday morning. The footballers, whose identities have not been disclosed, were witnessed with blood on them following the confrontation on Queen s Road at approximately 2am. According to The Telegraph, the pair intervened when they came across the alleged victim being assaulted in the south west London area
