Body of Missing Teen Grace Keeling Recovered in Withernsea
Police recover body of missing 15‑year‑old after fatal Withernsea beach incident.

Police authorities on the eastern Yorkshire coast say the body of 15‑year‑old Grace Keeling was recovered on Thursday 17 January from rocks along Withernsea beach. Grace and her mother Sarah Keeling, 45, were swept into the sea on 2 January after a powerful wave hit the beach. The rescue operation, involving HM Coastguard, Humberside Fire and Rescue Service and specialist teams, was unable to retrieve Grace before high tide on Friday. Mark Ratcliffe, 34, a member of the public who rushed into the water to save the pair, also died. Official identification is pending, but police believe the remains belong to the teenager caught in the 2‑January tragedy.
