Body found near 19-year-old's home in Bexar County amid Christmas Eve disappearance

A body has been discovered in Bexar County, Texas, during the search for missing 19-year-old Camila Mendoza Olmos, who vanished on Christmas Eve. Sheriff Javier Salazar confirmed Tuesday that the body was found in a field approximately 100 yards from her home in northwest Bexar County around 5 p.m. local time. Authorities do not suspect foul play but noted indicators of self-harm at the scene. A missing firearm belonging to a relative was located near the body, though it's unconfirmed if it's connected to the case. Mendoza Olmos was last seen Wednesday morning, and a dashcam video released earlier showed a woman who may have been her walking alone. The body has not been formally identified, and the medical examiner is determining cause and manner of death.
