Lively’s lawsuit, filed in Dec 2024, accuses director Justin Baldoni (41) of sexual harassment during the 2024 film *It Ends With Us* and of coordinating a smear campaign to damage her reputation. Judge Lewis Liman preserved the hearing while Baldoni’s lawyer Jonathan Bach urged dismissal. Lively’s attorney Esra Hudson cited incidents such as an unexpected kiss and a forced “crawl on all fours.” The texts also show Swift advising Lively on leveraging her song *My Tears Ricochet* in the film’s trailer. Baldoni filed a $250 million libel suit against the New York Times, and a $400 million defamation counter‑suit, all now dismissed.
