Alexander Brothers Face Life Sentence on Sex Trafficking

The trial of Alon, Oren and Tal Alexander, prominent Manhattan real‑estate brokers, opened on Jan. 27 2026 in the federal courthouse. Prosecutors, led by Madison Smeyser, allege the 38‑year‑old twins and 39‑year‑old brother used their wealth and celebrity‑style parties to lure women and girls, promising trips and exclusive events before assaulting them with drugs, alcohol or force. Victims include a 17‑year‑old (referred to as Amelia) and women in Manhattan and the Hamptons, all of whom testified against the trio. If convicted, the brothers could receive life in prison under federal sex‑trafficking statutes. The defense, represented by Teny Geragos and Deanna Paul, claims the brothers were merely “party boys” who pursued consensual sex. Judge Valerie E. Caproni presided over the case.
